We are adding to Operation Fundstorm’s effort to help over 200 artists raise funds for Hurricane Michael relief. This effort was organized as an online auction called Operation Fundstorm and directed by a local Florida non-profit. The initial goal was to raise $20,000 but before check Operation Fundstorm’s auction closes on October 28 over $100,000 was raised! For the auction Kirk McBride, one of our artists, offered Shrimp Shack, a 12×16 he showed with us. We bought the painting for $600, the price he set. In return we want to pay this forward by maximizing Kirk’s donation. From now until November 24 we are taking bids for Shrimp Shack starting at $600. Our hope is to have a successful bidder take Shrimp Shack home with Bishop’s Stock sending another donation to Operation Fundstorm.
