Happy New Year! As you may already know, the gallery will only be open Saturdays during January and February. We hope this still gives visitors an opportunity to visit and enjoy the artwork, handcrafted jewelry, shawls and other miscellaneous surprises. Our vintage jewelry has been quite a hit and we will be making seasonal changes. Of course, our wine inventory is well-stocked. Case orders are discounted 20% and may be made by email.
If you want to explore wines from around the world, winter is a good time to join the wine club. Production costs, supply issues and tariffs are increasing wine prices in the U.S. and around the world. For these reasons, the wine club will now be $425 for 12 months. After Maryland’s 9% sales tax this gives me $30 a month to select 2 quality wines. The wines are selected at my cost so members get to try a wide range of wines from all over the world before they are shelved with our 50% markup. In January we are featuring Berger Gruner Veltliner and Berger Zweigelt from Austria. In February wines will be from Greece. These selections are perfect examples of wines we want our customers to try.
Bishop’s Stock will resume First Fridays on March 6 featuring a selection of work by gallery artists. We will stay in contact with gallery news.
