In June we will switch gears from the colors of Jude Robinson to the calm of C. Keith Whitelock. This is what makes gallery life very exciting! Keith returns with a show of fresh Chesapeake Bay paintings. As most of our patrons know, Keith grew up in Somerset County and uses his knowledge of the area to celebrate life along the bay and marshes. His imagery is very realistic to capture the life of watermen and a disappearing lifestyle. Check his website to find out how he integrates his interest in marine art with many aspects of his life – particularly serving as crew member on the retired skipjack, Ida May. The opening reception is Friday, June 2 from 5 until 8 with tastings of California wines.
